Sasha had a Harry Potter 9th Birthday Party!

Sasha is having fun with her friends at a Harry Potter themed birthday party!

Fast forward 9 years...

And now she's nine years old and helping write this blog!  She's going into 4th Grade and the years have just flown by.  She's multi-talented and a star! It's summer break right now.

Addicted to Baths

Bathtime is still Alexandra's most favorite activity. Hmmm..wonder where she gets that from? Looks like our new ultra-deep tub will have to be shared by dad. At any given moment, Alexandra will try to climb into the tub on her own. And upon hearing the word "mitza" ("to wash"), she will immediately start taking her clothes off.

Papa's Girl

Little Missy with Papa -- Sashinka enjoyed being the center of attention at our wine-tastings last weekend. She joined everyone in touring the grounds, browsing the merchandise, but suprisingly stayed away from the vino.

Girly Girl

She's becoming a little girl. Her hair clip wasn't perfectly on her hair, so Alexandra was a bit frustrated. She loves wearing clips, headbands, and hats. In fact, she will rarely leave the house without a hat. Unfortunately, she hasn't yet learned the art of actually matching!

Tzarina of the Limo

Alexandra took the center seat in the limo, on our ride up to Napa. She was awesome the entire day! This kid is living the high life - she's now ridden in a limo, she loves expensive and obscure cheeses, and would wear jewelry, if she had any!

Two Happy Little Cousins

Cousin Serafina says, "I love you, Zosya!" And she shows it with a big hug.

On 4th of July, Alexandra and CJ spent a little too much time on our deck - both were filthy! No better way to clean them up than with Mr. Bubble in our new, ultra-deep bathtub. They had a blast...

It's the Amelie Gnome! He's travelled from faraway lands to see Alexandra.

Alexanda is into Puma already. So much so, that she's into mama's shoes.

After Alexandra eats a messy meal, the best place to rinse her off is in our new industrial sink. She loves it, as obvious here. In general, she adores the water.

Sashinka falls asleep every night drinking milk in her crib. The next morning, we find the bottle anywhere from under her back, to tossed across the room. Here, she's wearing her stylin new pajamas from Kristina!

Nothing distracts Alexandra when she's watching Cheburashka - her absolute favorite Russian cartoon. Here, she is mesmerized by Cheburashka and Genya's adventures.
